Do I want an ICON? > pictorial or just letter? or initials? ( NHM)

I definitely want a logo that can be applied to lots of different applications eg.

different categories / sections within the museum like the previous logo

different media eg. 3D, screen, poster, etc

• the main/ landmark exhibit? eg.
• big dinosaur
• the blue whale
• the massive sequoia
• the big antlers
• the buildings' gargoyles
• Darwin
• monkey/ape ( evolution
• the vault
• the building itself ( the architecture of it)
• the history of the museum
• the foundeers
• the different coloured zones ? eg. orange, blue, green, red....use the colours in the logo?
